Nephrology Nursing Research Funding Resources

American Nephrology Nurses Association

The ANNA has several research project awards available to all members. These awards are up to $15,000 per year per proposal (US Dollars). Applications are due each November.

Kidney Foundation of Canada

Allied Health Research Grants

This is an annual competition for research grants held each October. The research must be relevant to th mission statement of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. The grants awarded can be up to $50,000 for one to two years.

Canadian Nurses Association

A 60 Million dollar endowment was awarded to CNA by the federal government in February 1999 for nursing research. These funds are under the guardianship of the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation. The funding is available for nursing research in the areas of health human resources, managing continuity and nursing leadership, organization andpolicy.
