Technologist certification – update:

The nephrology technologist certification (cdt) is now back in offering through ICC (International Certification Commission).  Canadian Board of Examiners for Biomedical and Dialyis Technologists and Technicians will govern the certification process in Canada.  The new brochures are developed and will be distributed during CANNT annual symposium 2009 to all Techs.  There will be a presentation on certification at one of the concurrent sessions.

CANNT Nephrology Health Care Professional Day:

Southern Alberta Renal Program of Alberta Health Services celebrated Nephrology Professional Day on September 16 by giving away awards of excellence and leadership to the staff.  The day was celebrated at all SARP facilities and lunch was provided by the program.
