Course Description:
This ONLINE course will be a practice oriented course where principles of teaching and learning are demonstrated by the student. Topics such as the characteristics of the adult learner, factors that influence learning, and methods to motivate and evaluate learning will be discussed prior to students doing preparing and sharing their online teaching tools.
Prerequisite:
Provincial RN certificate is required (any province or territory in Canada). A copy should be faxed to the Program Assistant prior to beginning the Program.

Call the Bookstore (705) 728-1968 X 1202 to place your order for Contemporary Nephrology Nursing: Principles and Practices by Molzahn and Butera (2006), ISBN number 9768125-4-1. Cost is approx. $200 (+ shipping) payable by credit card. Shipping takes 2 – 3 weeks. Order early to avoid disappointment.

You can register by telephone (705) 722-1511. Please have a valid credit card handy. Quote course CRN above when registering. Don't forget to confirm your student number when registering, as you will need this to logon.
TO LOG IN:
Please try your logon about a day after you register. Go to www.georgianc.on.ca. Click "Current Student". Click "Blackboard" under "On-Line Tools". Read the log in instructions carefully, then Click "Log In". Enter your User Name (this is your student number, then your password (this is your birth date - YYMMDD), then click Login. Your blackboard will open and you simply click on the underlined course name to enter the electronic classroom.
